| Bio: | Born and raised on Long Island, my Sicilian family had a strong cultural influence. My family is very close, even third cousins are treated like immediate relatives. When I was younger, I was a very quiet and insecure book-reader, but through the years have become more and more active, especially in my current college years. I was always interested in the arts and literature, and after a 2-week birthday trip to Italy when I was 16, I decided to major in Art History and English. I am currently interested in Renaissance art as a concentration, but change my mind frequently. Traveling has also led me to Greece where I studied for a short while. That experience defined my passion for the arts and antiquity while absorbing different cultures and historical sites. |
